Apple’s augmented reality glasses are addictive

The first reviewers of Apple’s augmented reality glasses have noted that the device can be addictive. This is reported by publication Vanity Fair.

Media journalist Nick Bilton said that while using the Apple device, he appreciated the stunning visual effects that the headset is able to create. According to the expert, after such an experience, the real world seems very boring and one does not want to return to it.

Bilton admitted that the Vision Pro glasses are like a drug that has a ‘dopamine effect’. The journalist’s unnamed source described Apple’s gadget as ‘technical fentanyl’. Fentanyl is an opioid painkiller that is highly addictive.
